ABOUT KATHY
I have been a licensed massage therapist and healer since 1999 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Since this time I have done over 9,000 individual massage and healing sessions. I am also an ordained metaphysical minister, spiritual teacher and writer and Reiki Master and spiritual counselor. I am also the founder and teacher of "Vibrational Source Healing". (See page on VBS for more information).
Most of the last 12 years has been spent in private practice and I was also a therapist at the Healing Arts Center at Imperial Point from 2005 until their closing in 2008. I use varied massage techniques and each massage is individualized to the needs of the client. Sessions can include energy work or not depending on the client's preference. Most sessions do include both, as I have found the energy work combined with massage is extremely effective. I have many certifications (see below) and I am also a certified Reiki Master. My formal training combined with my intuition makes a very powerful and effective session. My energy healing sessions utlilize intuition and spiritual guidance along with my knowledge of metaphysics while I channel high vibrational healing energy. These sessions are very powerful and create change and healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. I also offer spiritual counseling sessions both in person and over the phone. I can offer guidance for life's challenges and especially for the changing energies of the times and the acceleration of consciousness that we are currently experiencing.
I know first-hand that healing is possible and this is something I share with all of my clients. I have been able to heal myself of three illnesses that are commonly considered chronic (fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and a precancerous condition). Being told that I would have "to live with it" and "adjust my lifestyle accordingly" or possibly have surgery were just not acceptable solutions to me. I worked very hard to heal myself of these conditions. Some of the tools I used were meditations, visualizations, changing deeply rooted belief systems and energy healing work. The most important thing was that I believed that healing was possible and I refused to accept the possibility of a life of disease or disability.
So, I've "been there, done that" and I understand the frustration of living with pain. And on the other hand, I've also been able to conquer the dysfunctions, so I know what possibilities exist. I believe that in everything is a gift or a lesson; and having had the experiences that I've had have made me so much more understanding and compassionate and so much better to help other people.
I also feel and understand the changing energies of the times that we live in. I have an understanding of the prophecies that have come out of diverse cultures and religions concerning the time that we are living in. I understand the emotions and processes that we are undergoing at this time. This can be a daunting time if you do not understand what it taking place and how to deal with it. I am available for sessions that deal with this process as well as the challenges of daily living.
Today, my mission, or "passion", if you will, is helping people heal and create the wonderful lives that they desire. You do not have to live with pain!! I have spent many years studying spiritual and metaphysical teachings then applying them to my own life. I enjoy sharing what I have learned and providing the tools for healing in the form of massage therapy, energy healing, and teaching.
